Is dagga neurotoxic or a “neurocatalyst”?
Neurotoxicity occurs when exposure to natural or artificial toxic substances, which are called neurotoxins, alters the normal activity of the nervous system in such a way as to cause damage to nervous tissue. This can eventually disrupt or even kill neurons, key cells that transmit and process signals in the brain and other parts of the nervous system.
The term neurocatalyst does not exist in any scientific field, however when you apply common sense and understand the basic endocannabinoid system the term neurocatalyst makes so much sense.
Cannabinoids that that couple with endocannabinoid receptors acts as a catalyst for the endocannabinoid system to do it’s work.
