On the 23rd of April an official application of appeal was submitted on the decision of the South African Human Right Commission to close the complaint lodged on behalf of the dagga culture of South Africa. They closed the complaint on the premise that there are developments regarding the Medical Dagga Bill that they will monitor. Not understanding or rather ignoring the fact that criminals are being made from otherwise law abiding citizens on a daily basis.
Now the appeal must be reviewed on a first come first serve basis and we wait.
Why is there a lack of action from a body sworn to uphold human rights but of all dignity.
Where is our right to be part of the dagga culture? Where is our dignity?
