Dagga dealer given R600 fine

Uitenhage – A 29-year-old drug dealer was fined R600 by the Uitenhage Magistrate’s Court on Monday, Eastern Cape police said.

He would be jailed for 60 days if he failed to pay the fine, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei said.

The man was arrested on Sunday after he was found in possession of dagga with an estimated street value of R20 000.
