Selling of dagga muffins on the rise at schools, police say
Local police say the selling of dagga muffins are on the rise at local schools. This after a lady from Ext 23 in Ratanda was arrested for allegedly selling these muffins to learners at a college in Springs.
According to Ratanda police spokesperson Xolani Mkhize, the parents of a 16 year-old learner from Veritas College became aware that their child was acting strangely after coming home from school on March 7.
After it was established that the boy had bought dagga muffins, the parents reported the matter to the SAPS in Springs.
Mkhize says local police were notified of the woman’s whereabouts and raided the suspect’s home on March 10, finding two muffins containing dagga one the premises.
