Jeremy Acton leader of Iqela Lentsango: The Dagga Party of South Africa was in the Western Cape High Court this morning applying for a stay in all dagga cases pending the outcomes of the Dagga Couple, Ras. Prince, and other national High Court cases.
As you can read from his update, he has managed to advance one stage further.

UPDATE!!! on my application to stay my prosecutions for dagga and on my application for all prosecutions to be stayed nationwide: I was granted my application for my own stay of prosecutions, and the court postponed on clause 4 to appoint an “amicus” (free advocate) to take the nationwide stay application forward and get the papers in order.
