Go for it, my China, is taking on a whole new meaning lol. From 1 March 2014, all vendors in Gansu Province must establish a special counter or shelf for GMO products. This is because Food Producers are misleading consumers by not strictly applying the labelling laws which have been in place since 2001. Non-GMO sales are already increasing. The Chinese are savvy in foreseeing market trends – they’re doing the reasearch on customer preferences & may enforce this throughout China. Whereas in USA & SA, the seed & food industry slams their Hitler boots down on our necks & deny us the freedom to choose.
