Men arrested with 12 bags of dagga

Johannesburg – Two men were arrested for allegedly being in possession of dagga in Aliwal North on Friday, Eastern Cape police said.

Warrant Officer Cynthia Handile said police pulled over a bakkie in the Hilton area and found 12 bags of dagga with an estimated street value of R273 000.

The men, aged between 35 and 38, were expected to appear in the Aliwal North Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
