How about this for an idea….If you are going to punish people for using harmful drugs, punish people according to how much harm the drug is doing to you and society. Dagga, LSD and Ecstasy aren't even in the top 10. Ciggies and booze are though. Prof David Nutt in the UK is calling for the reclassification of 'drugs' to enable research to be conducted on the benefits of them as therapy. Prof Nutt is a hero of the DC and we imagine him in The High Court in Pretoria as an expert witness……
