Kimberley man busted with dagga around my neck of the woods…
NORTHERN CAPE – A man has been arrested in Kimberley after police found dagga valued at nearly half a million rand in his possession.
Police received a tip off from the public that the man was transporting drugs in a white Toyota Tazz.
The vehicle was stopped and searched by police officials.
Close to 90 kilograms of marijuana was found in black refuse bags in the vehicle.
The police’s Donald Mdluli says, “The 30-year-old was immediately arrested, his dagga was confiscated. He is facing a charge of possession of dagga and is expected to appear before the Kimberley Magistrates Court on Monday.”
